Keys To Beating Green Bay

Some Keys To the Dolphins Game

1) The Run Game: The Biggest chance the Dolphins will have against the Packers this weekend will be in the run game. The Packers run defense is pretty terrible, in fact they are the worst run defense in the league. So far in 2014, the Packers are giving up 163 yards per game and 4.6 yards per attempt. Meanwhile, the Dolphins rush offence is gaining 142 yards per game on the ground which is good for 5th best in the NFL. If the Dolphins rush attack is as successful as it should be Sunday, than they can open up their offense and control the time of possession. Lets hope that's the case.

2) Secondary Boost: This Sunday, Reshad Jones will make his season debut for the Dolphins at safety. His presence should have a significant impact on the performance of the whole secondary. Jones coming back allows Jimmy Wilson to return to his more natural position in the nickel, taking snaps away from the inconsistent play of the younger Dolphins corners. Jones is a good tackler and should really help limit explosive plays and yard after catch opportunities.

3: Pass Rush: Aaron Rodgers will be the best player on the field Sunday hands down. The second best player on the field is arguably Cam Wake. The Dolphins best pass rusher is usually a big key. If he can get to Rodgers and if the rest of the D-line can contain him and bring him down, get him to make mistakes, then it could be a good day for the Dolphins.

I'll have a prediction on the out come of the game tomorrow. Untill then... see you on Twitter
